Tools and Practices that Empower and Bless

In our growing awareness that everything is frequency before it becomes a physical manifestation, we are learning that the most powerful ways to influence our life and what arrives in it are to engage the frequency with which it is being created.

Below are some practices that have helped me immensely. These are only a sample of the many options out there. They are helping me to cultivate presence, patience, focused alignment, deep gratitude and compassion, embracing sacred relationship, and release of needing to control out of fear, to name some of the benefits. I have tried to link to more information that I have found to be helpful, but this is not by any means an exhaustive list. It is, rather, an array of resources from multiple people or organizations because we all have much to learn and share with one another. I encourage you to explore whatever feels genuinely good and of interest that you come across.

The more we practice, the more powerful it gets, the deeper and sweeter it gets, and the more it becomes a living presence in our life that weaves into the tapestry of our shared world.

And please remember: This incredible universe is an ever-evolving and dynamic place…and so are we always, always an ever-evolving work in progress. Keep going. <3

Reiki

Reiki is Divinely Guided Life Force Energy.

It has been said that Reiki first came to us through Jesus. It was most recently re-awakened in the world through Dr. Mikao Usui.

Reiki seeks to create harmony and balance wherever it is invited to reside. One of the things I like about Reiki is that the more we learn to be present with it, the better it works! The more we allow ourselves to release, relax, become curious about our present moment, the more the Reiki opens us to explore deeper, broader, layer upon layer. It partners with us to invite healing and release of pain. It helps to create harmony in our lives and relationships. Reiki is an exceptional teacher and guide in learning to cultivate peace, presence, and a willingness to invite inspired action.

Reiki is an absolute pleasure to experience, both in meditation and in session. The peace and oneness felt, especially with continued practice, is so very sweet!

If you or someone you care about is in need of some support through prayer and Reiki, the Distant Healing Network (DHN) is a world wide collection of volunteers who offer to hold people, animals, etc in such space for a select period of time for free. If you feel this may be an avenue that may support your life at this time, please look them up at the link above and see if it may be a good fit. I volunteer with this group and they are beautiful souls, indeed.

There is so much information about Reiki on the internet, but I chose to link to Tina Zion and her books because I have taken her medical intuitive workshops and she is a genuine, loving soul whose mission is to support our healing and transformation.

Interspecies Communication

Communicating with others happens on so many levels, but, of course, verbally is the way we have been taught to use most. Our first language was telepathic and we often still use it, but perhaps not on a level that we might recognize.

Telepathic communication involves sensing on many levels: it utilizes our five senses as our bodies are perfect receivers for it. Other aspects of telepathy involve thought, inner hearing, inner sight/vision/imagination, gut knowing/intuition. We were born using them, but many of us have learned to pack them away, much like a language that no one speaks around us, so we don’t get to use it, and it gets very rusty or even seems to be gone altogether. And yet, yes we can absolutely pull it from that old shoe box in the back of the closet and re-awaken it.

I chose to link to Penelope Smith here because she is considered one of the pioneers of animal communication. Her dedication and love of this relationship with our natural world is inspiring. Two other beautiful souls that I have worked with are Pea Horsley, who offers free and fee workshops throughout the year, and Suzan Vaughn, who also offers some avenues for learning to understand our animal companions. Both Pea and Suzan offer sessions as well.

The Munay Ki Rites

The Munay Ki are initiations/seeds of light that are transmitted, cultivated, and incorporated into our life through thoughtful presence and practice, enhancing our whole selves and recreating us into the Homo Luminous beings that are stewarding our blessed Gaia at this time. Originally gifted to the Quero/Earth Keepers of Peru, these sacred rites are the seeds of our potential as a complete and multi dimensional human being birthing the new world and our sacred relationships to All, living in Ayni. These rites are now being shared with many all over the world who are called to join the EarthKeepers and evolve their journey into being one who is truly in harmony with all life.

Presence. Mindfulness. Meditation.

So many ways to develop this. Where to start?

Our five senses can get pretty overloaded and become numb or go on auto pilot nowadays. Can you bring your presence to one type of sensation in any random moment of your day or night? Can you feel into your breath ever so often…being with it for the few seconds it has come to visit your body? Can you feel the pause, the space between a stimulus and your awareness of it before you offer a response or reaction? How peaceful…or even how overloaded…are you in this moment? …..Presence.

Learning to truly be in a moment, to allow ourself to pause and become aware, and then choose our response rather than react to it. To become aware that we have a choice…even when we feel we cannot control what’s happening around us, we can develop the skills to choose how we are going to relate with it…Mindfulness.

Learning to still the monkey mind…to help it to let go its grip on the constant noise within. Learning to be aware of the noise, without needing to attach to it and eventually without allowing it to distract us. Inviting ourself to learn how to breathe presence and mindfulness into any moment so that we develop calm and inner communion….Meditation.

These are practices carried out in many ways: some with movement, some with stillness, some guided with activities or journeys, some with the absence of all stimulus. Often we find that a combination of these is wonderful and serves well depending on how we are finding our need to center.

These skills are essential in our lives today. Honing these helps us to navigate all that is vying for our attention, both the manipulative and the heart-centered. Learning to deepen these practices will help us to tune into our inner navigation system to discern our situation and the options for engagement (or not) that will serve the highest and best.

Nature!!!

Re-connect with the natural world in whatever way you can….take a walk, tend a plant, watch the birds or the snails, feel the grass under your feet, touch a tree, drink a glass of water…breathe….buy a plant or explore gardening…heck! buy lots of plants and explore gardening! Watch the bugs. Whisper to the flowers. Feel the caress of the moonlight upon your skin. If you don’t have access to the natural world, put up pictures of her or even just spend time imagining her and how it might feel to be there. Genuine engagement/intention is always appreciated, even if it is awkward at first.

We are part of the natural world. We have only forgotten that we are. We are not here to dominate and dismiss…we are here to remember our sacred place as brothers and sisters in this deeply interwoven space, where all are equally important and needed for the thriving of all life.

Instead of taking in the whole dismal picture of what we have done to our precious world, let’s take a breathe, feel the gift that we are part of, and invite Nature in to help guide us back. Let us watch her, and genuinely seek to build a relationship that deeply considers all her precious life.

If we don’t know how to make grand scale change, look to see if we can do one thing in our life today that takes a step in that direction, even if it is simply seeking to listen. Listening opens the door to inspired action. It is one way to invite the sacred into our life. And it is so desiring to come in.

Overload is a good word regarding our life and our environment. When taking this in, and in considering how in the world can we make a difference: use your practice of presence, mindfulness and meditation: feel into what you are finding, learn to become aware of hidden agendas, learn to recognize heart-centered trajectories that serve the well being of all…become present to layers and feel into how you are reacting to what you find. Learn to decipher the deeper meaning and invitation of the options.

Each choice to focus on the thriving and healing of our world makes a difference. Whether you are part of the collective who supports large entities like NRDC or Nature Conservancy, or whether you are making choices in your personal life and daily activities like how you garden, or in what you buy, even in the type of mindset you cultivate. Follow inspired action rather than fear-based action. They have a totally different feel, totally different trajectory, and totally different end result.

I have many links to add that may be of interest, and will add them as I have time.

Theta Healing®

ThetaHealing® was created by Vianna Stibal. It is a meditation technique and spiritual philosophy that uses focused thought and prayer. The Theta Healing Institute of Knowledge believes that this training method offers physical, emotional, and spiritual healing by tapping into the Theta brain wave and connecting with the Creator Of All That Is. When we experience this connection, we can reprogram our minds to clear limiting beliefs and think positively. This brings out the best in ourselves and allows us to live our most enlightened, successful lives.

One of the things I love about Theta Healing is how quickly it gets to beliefs that are influencing our experiences. Through this work, we are able to pull out a belief that is keeping us stuck in a pattern we find challenging, and then to replace it a new one that is programmed with Creator’s definition and perspective and what that belief feels like. This accesses some deep layers, and gives us an opportunity to relate to our whole life and all our relationships with fresh and aligned perspective. It has helped me to grow so much in the years I have worked with it.

Authentic Power

Authentic Power, cultivated from a practice of tuning inward and seeking to align with the Divine Essence of our Soul, is the way of our becoming world. It is the path and practice of what is actively taking the place of our outdated and obsolete world which has been based on external power and the need to control that which we have felt to be outside ourselves.

Authentic power comes from the sacred space within. It gifts us with the remembering that our experience of separation is an illusion. And it invites us to step, once again, into true wholeness.
Ghandi’s famous quote, “Be the change you wish to see in the world” is certainly applicable here. It is only through our applied choice and practice of cultivating our inner world, that we can bring it out and engage what we know as our outer world through a space which not only desires to live in love and harmony with all life, but to actively live it through our empowered self.

Decades ago, I read a book by Gary Zukav, titled, “The Seat of the Soul”. It opened my world and made me curious to learn more. His genuine desire to connect with and cultivate life through love and divine empowerment gave me a glimpse into what may be possible. I am so glad that the Universe connected his work to my awareness.
